Oregon State University’s guests are automatically opted in to the Skamania Lodge Green Choice program. Guestrooms will not receive housekeeping service unless requested by the guest at check-in or at any time during their stay. Each guest will receive a $5.00 voucher for each day they do not receive housekeeping service, which can be used on individual dining, Skamania To-Go, retail purchases, spa treatments, and golf activities. Green Choice vouchers cannot be applied to group dining functions or payment of room, tax, or resort fees.

For those who would like to stay and further explore the local area, there are many advantages. Skamania Lodge will honor our room block rate of $155/night plus taxes and fees for three days before and three days after the workshop. Overnight parking fees of $15 per night are waived. Attendees can also receive 10% off golf, available with tee time, and 10% off spa services, available with appointment. You must call Skamania Lodge at 509-314-4177 to arrange additional room nights or amenities. 

Key local details 

Toll bridge: If you are coming from I-84 in Oregon, you will need to cross the Bridge of the Gods from Cascade Locks to Stevenson. This is a toll bridge charging $3 for passenger vehicles on the Cascade Locks side. Although they take credit cards, there are additional fees, so you may want to bring cash. Weather and climate: Average temperatures in March are 51 degrees and average rainfall for the month is 6.1 inches. Expect cloudy and potentially wet conditions, with possible breaks of sun. We recommend bringing a raincoat and sturdy trail shoes if you wish to hike.
